Disclaimer about prices

Gold prices on this site are indicative and for information only. They are derived from third-party market data sources and are typically refreshed every 15 minutes. They may be delayed, interrupted, inaccurate or briefly unavailable. They do not constitute an offer to buy or sell anything, by us or by anyone else.

When our data sources are unreachable, we continue to display the last confirmed price rather than a zero, and we mark it as such once it is more than 90 minutes old. That behavior is deliberate and explained on our methodology page. It also means the figure you are looking at may not be the current market price.

Always confirm the live price with your buyer at the moment of sale.

Payout ranges are estimates

The payout ranges shown in our ladder are estimates, not quotes, offers or guarantees. They are built from published buyer terms and commonly reported industry spreads, as described in the methodology. No buyer is bound by them, and we have no agreement with any buyer to honor them.

Your actual offer will depend on the piece, its weight and condition, the buyer, their current inventory position and the day you walk in. It may fall outside our published range in either direction.
